DESCRIPTION:June 1 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm\n\n\n\n\nIt’s another year of hosting our annual spring mushroom celebration and we couldn’t be more excited to be showing off more of Vancouver’s fungal offerings! This year\, we are switching things up to offer more interactive and engaging workshops and presentations\, including cooking demos\, dyes\, talks from experts\, and cultivation. We hope that the day will have something for everybody! Come by Floral hall to peruse the range of fungal specimens that grow in and around Vancouver\, get answers and assistance with your pressing mushroom-related curiosities\, and visit with vendors selling merch and mushrooms alike.\n\n\n\nHours: 10am to 5pm\, June 1st 2025\n\n\n\nEntry fee: $5\, kids under 12 free\n\n\n\nVenue is wheelchair accessible\n\n\n\nA reminder that this event is held in Floral Hall\, and admission is not associated with the nearby VanDusen Botanical Gardens – though their spring blooms are probably worth their own visit!\n\n\nThis event is held on Ancestral\, Traditional\, and Unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples\, including the territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam)\, sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Friday June 20th – 2 pm. Sunday June 22nd\nWhat: Solstice celebration – First weekend foray of 2025.\nCost: Tickets include camping and food\n\n1 night – $35.00\n2 nights – $60.00\n\n\n\nA chance to bring and showcase your last year’s harvest. \nForay in and around the forestry trunk road (in the past this area has been an excellent source of Morels\, Hericium\, Hedgehogs\, Puff Balls [large] ) \nJoin in around the campfire (firewood is not supplied) for Supper (Friday)\, Breakfast/Dinner (Saturday) with lunchtime snacks thrown in (bring your beverages/water). Share your favourite PotLuck dishes with the crowd! \n\nIt is best to bring a map of the area and compass as signage and cellphone reception are limited.
