SUMMARY:MMS Workshop: Chanterelle Felting and Member Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Workshop Host: Manitoba Mushroom Society in cooperation with the University of Winnipeg \nWorkshop Time: 2026 March 4\, 6:30 PM central time to 9:00 PM \nWorkshop Location: University of Winnipeg\, Winnipeg\, Manitoba \nJoin Manitoba Mushroom Society Member Heather Sadler at the University of Winnipeg for a second Wool Felting Mushroom workshop to continue to learn how to make wool felted mushrooms; the focus will be on chanterelles this time. Wool felting kits specific to felting a couple chanterelles are available to purchase at cost from the Society\, thanks to Heather. \nA Society Member meeting will also be held. \nTo ensure we reserve a felting kit for you (3 needles\, felting pad\, felting wool\, at cost fee) please register by 2026 February 16. If you register after February 16\, you will likely get a seat but we may not be able to reserve a felting kit for you; however you can always learn by observing others felting and participate in the Meeting part of the event. \nThe event is free and only for Society Members and UW/UM/RRC students\, staff\, faculty. \nRegistration closes midnight 2026 March 2. \nOn March 3 you will be emailed a confirmation email with information including the UW Room number. \nRegister using the following form:\nhttps://forms.gle/wx4REMopU6ThNbu36
