Morel Madness

Greetings myco-friends! The Missouri Mycological Society is happy to announce that registration for our much-anticipated Morel Madness weekend foray is now open!
The event takes place April 11-13, and this year we’re returning to Shannondale in Shannon County, MO, a gorgeous piece of the Ozarks that encompasses over 4,000 forested acres. Morel habitat is abundant there, and if mother nature cooperates we expect to see lots of our favorite spongy fungi!
We have an entertainingly educational itinerary lined up:
Multiple speakers, demos, and workshops!
Several forays into prime morel territory!
Delicious potluck dinners and a hog roast!
Nightly UV hikes and bonfires!
The chance to spend the weekend with other amazing mushroom people!
Last year we sold out quickly and we expect the same this year, so don’t hesitate to sign up right away if you want to join us!
