Webinar: The MycoMap Network: eDNA in Action + Scaling Conservation Outcomes
The MycoMap Network is moving past data generation as a primary focus and will start work towards operationalizing fungal conservation at a continental scale. While high-throughput barcoding remains our foundation, 2026 marks a transition toward establishing the methodologies and philosophies needed for real-world impact. Through the launch of the Certified Fungal Habitat program and other upcoming initiatives, we are moving beyond the identification of individual species to create a framework for measurable conservation outcomes. This session explores how we bridge the gap between “what is this mushroom?” and the actions required to protect and manage entire ecosystems.
